LinkedIn continues working to offer its users new tools. On this occasion, the professional giant has included two mechanisms to improve users’ chances of getting a job and improve their participation in the selection process.
Job interviews are the most important point in entering the job market and this decisive moment can make people nervous. On LinkedIn they claim that 52 percent of people looking for successful jobs in the US spend time creating answers to challenging interview questions.
What is your greatest weakness? Why should I hire you? or tell me about yourself, these are questions that many of us have surely faced when we wanted to get a job. For this reason, the platform has launched a tool with a list of frequently asked questions in job interviews.
With the help of career experts, hiring managers and professional recruiters provide advice through short videos, to help users correctly answer questions posed. Through this personal training, candidates will have the possibility of giving natural answers in the interview.

In addition, LinkedIn Premium users will have exclusive access to sample interview responses approved by experts, so that they can stand out from other candidates.
This resource was deployed in June through the platform’s mobile application and on the computer, but only in English-speaking countries. Users will be able to access it through the desktop from the work tab within the “Work Control Panel”.
Along with this, LinkedIn brings another novelty. At the end of summer it will deploy a tool for users to share their recordings privately with trusted contacts on the social network, with the aim of obtaining feedback, guidance and advice.
This self-assessment tool for practicing interviews will allow users to ask typical questions and record them and then observe the process over time and see how employers see them.
LinkedIn reminds candidates that it is important to know as much as possible about the interviewer and the company to which they are applying for the job. They assure that you have to study the company to obtain information about management and leadership, in addition, take a look at the profiles of the interviewers on the platform and, above all, practice.
The launch of these tools consolidates the platform as the largest professional database at the moment, and a space where feedback is facilitated between candidates and human resources agents. Although these new features are expected to reach Spanish-speaking countries, it is not yet known when they will be introduced.
