The second edition of the VR Observatory has opened its doors, starting this morning, at the Polo Digital facilities in Malaga. The day, which will last on July 18 and 19, began with the speech of the Malaga councilor, Francisco de la Torre, who placed emphasis on the appearance and use of inclusive technologies. The activities will take place until late afternoon today and tomorrow.
Applications related to video games will be the main protagonists of almost the entire day today. At 11:35, Francisco Asensi, head of content at Tarkinia, will begin with a presentation on the inclusion of eSports and VR technology in the current social panorama. The session will alternate with events related to gaming and the management of player clubs.
There will also be time for networking throughout the afternoon, where attendees and speakers will be able to share ideas, make contacts and propose new projects. The second part of the events will focus on the use of augmented reality technologies in other sectors such as architecture, art and education.
The second day will start with a presentation by Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media, and will be characterized by a greater presence of events related to the new role of live narrators through streaming and the use of virtual reality in the field of medicine. After the closing at seven thirty in the afternoon there will be one last space reserved for networking before ending the annual edition.
